Inside a Creatify Pod: How Our TikTok Shop Teams Work

Every brand Creatify works with is run by a pod: a CSM, a Creator Manager and a Creator Coach who share a small set of clients. Each person owns one part of the result, and nobody has to be good at everything. If you're looking at TikTok Shop agency jobs, this is what the day-to-day looks like here, and how to tell which seat fits you. Why we use pods Most agencies hand each account to one person who does a bit of everything: client calls, creator outreach, content feedback, reporting. That person ends up great at one part and stretched on the rest, and the brand feels it. We split the job into three owners instead. The brand gets a specialist on each part of the program. You get to go deep on the part you're best at, with two teammates covering the rest of the same brands. The three roles CSM (Customer Success Manager) The CSM owns the brand relationship and the result. They run client calls, set priorities with the brand, report on performance, and make sure the pod is working on what moves GMV this month. If the brand wants to push a new launch or a higher-value bundle, the CSM turns that into a plan for the rest of the pod. Good fit if you like owning outcomes, talking to senior marketers, and turning data into a clear story. Creator Manager The Creator Manager owns the creator roster. They build creator lists, screen creators against sales history, send invites and samples, and run the campaign cycle from first outreach to renewal. When a creator stops posting or drops their affiliate links, the Creator Manager catches it. Good fit if you like volume, organization and following up until things get done. Creator Coach The Creator Coach owns content quality. They study what's selling, give creators direct feedback on hooks and demos, and help mid-tier creators become top sellers. They're also the first line on compliance, catching claims or formats that could get a video flagged. Good fit if you watch TikTok Shop content and immediately see why one video sells and another doesn't. How work moves through a pod The roles hand off constantly. A typical loop:

  1. The CSM agrees on priorities with the brand: which products, which angles, which goals for the month.
  2. The Creator Manager builds and screens the creator list, then sends invites and samples.
  3. Creators post. The Creator Coach reviews what's working and coaches the rest of the roster toward it.
  4. The Creator Manager tracks posting and sales per creator and renews the ones who perform.
  5. The CSM reports results back to the brand and resets priorities for the next cycle. Nobody waits for a weekly meeting to pass things along. If the Coach spots a hook that's converting, the Creator Manager is recruiting more creators who can run it the same day. What a month looks like Our creator campaigns run on a 30-day rhythm. The first week is list building, screening and outreach. The middle of the month is about getting samples posted and coaching creators on what's selling. The last week is renewal: deciding which creators earned another cycle and lining up the next round. Across that month you'll work with tools like TikTok Shop's Affiliate Center, Growi and FastMoss, plus our own trackers and SOPs. You don't need to know them before you start. You do need to learn fast. Who does well here The people who thrive at Creatify tend to share a few traits, most of which come straight from how we operate: • They care about outcomes over looking busy. A finished campaign beats a perfect plan. • They question assumptions and check the data before repeating what "everyone knows" about TikTok Shop. • They treat it as a competition, because for the brands we work with, it is. • They finish things. Half-done follow-ups are the most expensive mistake in this business. If you want a slow, predictable job, we're the wrong fit. If you want to learn TikTok Shop faster than anywhere else, keep reading. Which seat should you apply for? Pick the CSM track if you're strongest in client communication and analysis. Pick Creator Manager if you're organized, persistent and comfortable messaging dozens of people a day. Pick Creator Coach if you have strong taste for content and can give direct, useful feedback. Not sure? Tell us in your application which parts of the job you'd do for free. That usually answers it. FAQs What is a pod at a TikTok Shop agency? A small team that shares a set of brand clients, with each person owning one part of the program. At Creatify, a pod is a CSM, a Creator Manager and a Creator Coach. Do I need TikTok Shop experience to join a pod? It helps, especially for Creator Manager and Creator Coach roles. What matters more is proof you can do the work: outreach you've run, content you've broken down, or results you've reported. Can I move between roles? Pods give you a close view of all three seats, so it's common to learn the neighboring roles over time. What does a Creator Coach do that a Creator Manager doesn't? The Creator Manager decides which creators are on the roster and keeps them posting. The Creator Coach makes their content sell better. See open roles We're hiring for pod roles now.
